Edition in two volumes of great artistic interest of this Byzantine novel, printed in Madrid by Antonio de Sancha in 1781 dedicated to Don Pedro Fernández de Castro, Count of Lemos. It is accompanied by 12 prints drawn by José Ximeno y Carnicero, and engraved by Fernando Selma, one of the most important figures of his time, a representative of publishing and gravure printing in 18th-century Spain. This illustration corresponds to the shipment to England.
